But how can people be so cruel. AMALIA

That’s how the world it is… some people’s life is cheaper that other like our parents that’s why we see all this happen.

KAULA

No Amalia but we are one people one nation one blood. We can’t just go around and kill people like they are chickens this is not good at all…. We can’t live like this no no . (Pause) So where did you leave Vincent and Natasha or your uncle is already arrived?

AMALIA

I left them with uncle Keita… I didn’t even tell them what happened they were very happy to see mom and dad on television they don’t know what happened.

KAULA

But you have to tell them.

AMALIA

I know but it’s not easy for me to tell them before we see the story Natasha asked me when mom and dad coming home…. What I’m going to say now to her Kaula? This is not easy as you think maybe uncle can tell them.

KAULA

I understand that and I’m really sorry about that (Pause) so any preparation you already than up to so far?

AMALIA

Not yet right now I don’t know what to think my head is blocked…. How I’m going to take care of Vincent and Natasha….? And with what because I don’t have nothing I’m still young too how are we going to survive? (Crying)

Now I have to be a mother and father to them…. How may I supposed to do that alone?

KAULA

Don’t cry you not alone I’m here and also your uncle is there for both of you we’ll come with a plan on how to deal with the problem okay…. Everything will be fine

just talk to me when you in need of something.

AMALIA

I thought that place is better place than ours … but I was fooling myself I wished that one of the days we’ll be go stay there too but that’s not going to happen anymore.

KAULA

It’s okay will stay here this is our home.

AMALIA

(Couldn’t hold tears)

But how can they be so cruel… why mom and dad? Why them?

KAULA

It’s okay they’ll pay for what they did don’t cry…..
