SATURDAY

LUYANDA

It's not even 12 noon but my head is ready to explode I love kids but my sister in law kids are just a nightmare. They had thrown the cushions off the couches I had to clean up after them and they sure made a mess..the oldest was Nhlalala she was 16 then Ntsako he was 12 and Ndzaka he was 8 years old.

Me: Nhlalala can you please wash the dishes while I clean up the mess here.

Nhlalala: ok aunty..guys stop running in the house ok.

She did the dishes at least she wasn't a bitch like her mother she was sweet only the boy's were just monsters like their mother. The boys kept running up and down the stairs and I kept yelling for them to stop but they didn't listen to me. I felt a quick rush of blood to head I guess my sugar levels were down I haven't had anything to eat since morning. I didn't have appetite so I went outside and called MaGabi and told her I won't be coming to the shower but I had given my brother the present to give to MaGabi. As I was sitting there I heard something breaking and crying I quickly went to check..I found Ndzaka crying and bleeding in the forehead apparently he knocked the vase. I cleaned him up and made them watch movies while I went to inject myself with the insulin. I went to lie down for a while

I didn't imagine myself spending my Saturday being dragged from one shop to the other I was tired. My sister and ma were just stocking up on unnecessary things just to impress someone my sister didn't even like women neh. We finally had a sit at some Indian restaurant and ordered some samoosa's.

Rhandzu: so I hear your wife wanted to attend a baby shower.

Ma: imagine..it meant we would be dragging the children from store to store.

Me: but ma she wanted to see her mother's grave as well. Are we done we need to hurry home she's not feeling well.

Rhandzu: I heard she hasn't been well. Is she finally pregnant

Me: no and that's none of your business.

Ma: the day she falls pregnant it's the day Jesus is going to come back from heaven. That girl is a barren believe me you.

Me: ma that's my wife you talking about .

Rhandzu: but it could be true...she's been with you for seven years but we have never seen her pregnant or have a miscarriage. Don't you think you should take her to a gynae.

Ma: for what. What he needs is a nice young fertile girl who will give him children. Did I tell you she has the granny sickness

Me: yoh hai ma it's diabetes. I've lost my appetite you will find me in the car if you are not there by 20 minutes am leaving you will catch a taxi.

Ma: yah that girls vagina am scared of it.nwana ni ngo tswala u kota ku tlakusela mina rito.*the child I gave birth to raises their voice at me*

We left china mall and went home when we got there we found Ndzaka banged up in the forehead and Luu was sleeping. Ma went to my bedroom and shouted at Luu my sister was just going on as if the boys head was cut off. I tried calming the situation down but it's like the more I spoke the fire went up more. Rhandzu kept screaming at Luu telling her she was a barren and God was punishing her for being wicked. I didn't know what to do or who to comfort Luu was just standing there crying because they were both confronting her. I took her hand and made our way out and I drove out I couldn't understand why they were treating her like this. 4 hours into our drive she is finally asleep and now I was just parking at her uncle's gate. She deserved to be with her family at this moment I woke her up and we went inside...
